I worked alongside Wingspan's product manager, Wade Warren, to develop new components and flows for Wingspan. Our goal is to make it easier for freelance contractors to get paid and keep track of tax withholding and deductions.

+ designed the interface for the 1099 tax-filing feature
+ designed a system of action cards that reduce unnecessary modals and popups
+ built a series of new components for the design library
+ finalized designs for physical debit cards
+ made the onboarding process more efficient
+ conducted UX research with clients
+ developed marketing materials and UI snippets
+ designed new icons
RESULT
We helped existing contractors manage payments and tax withholding more seamlessly while we prepared the app for onboarding thousands of new customers.
